Stewart today, as he unfolded a tele gram announcing the entry of Sloman, of tha Olympic Club of San Francisco, th great quarter-miler. The next telegram to arrive was from Moscow and announced the entry of Massey, winner of the 880 in the Conference meet last Spring; Dingle. Morrison. Betty, Parr and Lommassen. Massey will enter the 880 and 440; DinglVwill enter the 440; Morrison and Betty will enter the dashes and Lommassen will heave the discus and javelins. Massey, Uingle, Morrison and Betty will run the relay for the Gem Staters. Southern California will be repre sented by one of the most talented con tingents of athletes to be found in any one section of the country. The Los Angeles Athletic Club has entered Beebe, Pacific Coast champion in the mile and two mile; Bagnard, Far West tin champion In the shot-put and dis cus; Conn, crack sprinter and broad Jumper, and Fred Kelly, champion high Jiurdler. Earl Thompson, who recently tied the record of 15 flat for the high sticks, held for a long time by Kelly, will represent the University of Southern California.
