Mrs. Emma Y'oung, by her "blandishments and seduction alienated the love" of Mr. Hubbard from his wife, and that she continues to do so. In the charge against Mr. Young he Is accused of conniving at the action of hia wifo In the matter. Mrs. Young is accused of having persuaded Mr. Hubbard to leave bis wife, and it Is alleged that since then he haa failed lo support Mrs. Hubbard. Mr. and Mrs. Hubbard have two grown sons and a daughter. The daughter resides In Portland and the family is well known to many of the old-time residents of both Western Washington and Oregon. Mr. Hubbard Is known to all horsemen who follow the racing business, having attended the various fairs and truck meets In the Northwest for 25 years. MR. He came West in the 'SOs and located here in 1S9I. where he had since resided, work ing at his trade, that of carpenter. At the time of the Spanish War he joined the Second Oregon Volunteers and served with the regiment during the Philippine campaign. He was elected Sheriff of Wahkia kum County in 1908 and succeeded himself at the election of 1910. serv ing both, terms. At the last election, held in 1914. he was again elected and wad serving as Sheriff at the time of his death. He had been a City Councilman since the city was incor porated. Numerous sma.ll slides from the milting snow delayed trains of the various railroads using the Northern Pacific tracks Just south of Ridge fleld near the Knox place, and at Felida. Wednesday nipht and Thursday morning until about 9 o'clock. The yards here resembled a termin al point. There were eight passenger trains, including through Eastern trains, and five local and through fast freight trains in the yards at one time. Traffic is almost normal now, al though small slides are continually coming down, and the dispatcher and assistant train master are at Felida di recting the movements of trains through the sections where the slides occur. Joef Kundstat. who threatened to shoot and kill himself a few days ago because he was convicted on a charge of disorderly conduct, yesterday ap peared in the Recorder's Court and agreed to pay his tine.
