Hail
the
Sun
of
The rolling clouds of hard times are broken.
The hosts of gloom are dispersed. Songs
of hope and good cheer greet the glad New
Year and the watchword of all is "All's Well."
See the sign emblazoned on the bursting- sun. It's
a token the ancients read in the starry heavens. And
when they rexid it clearly Prosperity reigned AU
was well with the world.
It's a far cry from the early Chaldeans to our own
twentieth century' a big- jump from Assyria of old
to our beautiful Tacific Slope, but a million good
Housekeepers from San Diego to the Canadian boun
dary, know this sign gasa guarantee of the purest
of all pure foods. Because it's the trademark of the
Pacific Coast Biscuit Company the largest pure
food concern west of the Rockies.
Swastika Biscuits every woman who believes in
helping along the Prosperity of the Pacific Slope
buys them insists on biscuits with the Swastika
seal Jj on the ends of the package. And every man,
woman and child should know that our trademark is
a "Good Luck" seal a token of Prosperity a sign
that "All's Well."
But mark this! We do not ask you to buy "Swas
tika" Biscuits because our factories are located in
Portland and the other cities of the Pacific Coast
we do not ask you to buy Swastikas because we pour
out a steady stream of gold in wages to the thou
sands employed in our big, modern, sunlit plants
we simply ask you to buy Swastikas because they are
the best biscuits and because they sell for the same
prices as competing lines, often called "Just as Good."
Remember, Ladies, biscuits are no better than the
ingredients from which they are made, and every
ingredient contained in Swastikas is so thoroughly
tested, before entering our bake rooms, that pure
food experts call our biscuits "The Purest of All
Pure Foods."
Then join the Prosperity Crusade right now! If
you're interested in an era of Good Times, such as
this Coast has never known before, begin by insist
ing on biscuits with the "Good Luck" sign on the
ends of the package the Swastika seal JLJcj
And you men you right royal boosters for home
industries join this crusade today. Wherever you
may dine insist on Swastika Biscuits stand by the
doctrine you preach.
Explain the meaning of this to the little folks.
Tell them to say Swastika this way, Swas-tik-a, and
let them know that this sign is an absolute guaran
tee of Biscuit Perfection.
All Grocers sell Swastika biscuits, both plain and
fancy. There's a Swastika Biscuit for every taste
and they all taste delicious.

BACKACHE, PAIN IN SIDE, RHEUMATISM.
Dear Mr. Editor:
For a long time I suffered from back
ache, pain In left side, frequent urina
tion (bothering me at all times during
th day and night), and the uric acid
in my blood caused me to suffer from
rheumatism along with a constant tired,
worn-out feeling. I heard of the new
discovery of Dr. Pierce, of the Invalids"
Hotel and Surgical Institute, Buffalo,
N'. Y., called "Anuric," and obtaining
these tablets I at once began their use.
After giving "Anuric" a good trial I
believe it to bo tne best kidney remedy
on the market today. I have tried
other kidney medicines, but these
"Anuric Tablets" of Dr. Pierce's are
the only ones, in my opinion, that will
cure kidney and bladder troubles.
(Signed) HENRY A. LOVE.
Sote Experiments at Dr. Pierce's
Hospital for several years proved that
"Anuric" is 37 times more active than
