The sale of the -fcomerville brothers' mill properties at Napavine, seven miles south of Cbehalis, has finally been consummated, the new owners, tha Napavine Lumber Man ufacturing Company, taking; possession yeaterdsy. The bomerville plant has been in the hands of a receiver. W. B. Cola. The new owners plan to overhaul the Napavine plant and begin cutting lum ber at an early date. The mill plant purchased Is about a mils and a half wast of Napavine and has a dally ca pacity of 75.000 feet. Besides tha mill plant, there Is a porch column factory and a shingle mill with a capacity of 10.000 feet. There are dry kilns, plan ers and other equipment for turning out a first-clnss product In every de- psrtment. r.xtensive buildings for bnuaina- employes and their families will soon be ready to be reoccupled. (Spe cial.) Inland Empire wheat is being shipped to Chicago and Louisville at the rate of about 180 cars or 25 3,000 to 388.000 bushels a week. According to various Spokane railroad officials. It is understood that the prevailing prices paid the farmers range from Si to 90 cents, according; to the brand and condition. Each car carries from 1400 to 1600 bushels, tba minimum weight being 80.000 DOUnds to a car. Cars ran be loaded 10 per cent above their ca pacity, some having a stated limit of liu.ouu pounds. One railroad man estimates that half or the Inland Empire wheat is still In the warehouses. Tha Northern Pacific is routing from 70 to 80 cars a week: the O.-W. R. & N. about 10 cars East and five cars daily to the coast, and the Great Northern Is handling- about 30 cars a week.
