The funeral of Thomas Martin, veteran carrier of The Orcgonian at Creswell, was hold yesterday. He was born in Yonkers. N. Y., in 1843, and came to Oregon tn bis youth. During late years of his life he was employed as a watch man by the Southern Pacific Company, both at Cottage Grove and Creswell. Last Summer he fell and broke his leg; and since that time had been compelled . to travel about in a wheeled chair.
