The levy is a slight reduc tion under that of last year. The levy is divided Into the following items: City, 10.3 mills; school district, 6 mills; general county, 3.5 mills: state. 3.23 mills; general county road. 8 mills, and general .ichool levy 3.28 mills. IMPRISONED MINER FOUND Two-Score Miners Dis for 9 Hours and Rescued Co-Worker Unhurt. SEATTLE. Wash, Dec 22. Fifty miners, after digging for nine hours in the Newcastle mine of the Pacific Coast Coal Company, rescued Thomas Zathlas unhurt last night. A slide of rock choked the main gangway yesterday, imprisoning Zath las. His comrades expected to find him crushed under the slide, but when they broke through the 60 feet of slide they found him sitting calmly on his bucket waiting for deliverance.
