The Marlon and Polk County courts in Joint session placed a limrt of $150,000 for a steel structure or $2"0 000 for concrete. The plans as submitted for a steel structure call for an expenditure of approximately $250 000. It is reported here that Salem desires to operate the city cars across the bridge into Polk County. This same desire is responsible for a con flict as to the location of the bridge.
