morning by a wind storm that blew

damaged awnlnga. The wind lasted but

The city electric system was slightly

paired. Telephone and telegraph companies

MURDER TRIAL ON TODAY
Shade Fields Accused of Killing
Brothers In Range War.

Shade Fielaa. cnarged with the
murder of Edward and Wyman Ward,
brothers, will be placed on trial in the
District Court tomorrow. The double
murder waa committed in the Long
Valley district of Boise County on Sep
tember 17. 1315.
The state charges that Fields, follow
ing a dispute regarding the passage of
sheep across Wards' land, shot and
killed both. It is believed that the de
fendant will plead self-defense.
The caae Is regarded as the culmlna-L
tion of a range war Between sheepmen
and settlers in tha Long Valley section.

Sent to Albany. Or., for Burial.
VANCOUVER. Wash.. Nov. !1. (Spe
cial.) Mra. Phoebe Mclntlre. nearly
10 years old. died yesterday at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Ii. M. Phil
lips, near Glenwood, Wash., a few miles
from here. The body will be sent to
Albany. Or., tomorrow for interment.
Mrs. Mclntlre leaves two sons, J. A.
Mclntlre. of Albany, Or., and Robert
R, Mclntir. of Colorado, and three
sisters and a brother in the Kat.
