cial.) The rain of the last week have
brought up th Willamette River, and
the falls, which have been barren of
water ail Summer except when the
mills were hut down on Sunday, are
very much in evidence.
Th upper river has reached a
height' of 68. 7 feet, while the lower
river is 1C.4 feet. The Clackamas now
is high, even for tha Winter stage,
and is rising.
A rise of two feet more In the upper
river Is expected in the next 24 hours.
