(Special.) The attendance record of the Baker High School has been broken, according to announcement of A. C. Strange, City fitiperintendent of Schools. There are 2!0 pupils registered, of which 156 are girls and 141 boys. The total enrollment for all the city schools is 1475. and Professor Strange believes that by the end of the year this will reach 1650, the largest number ever known here. Ontralla Depositors Call Meeting. CKXTRAX.IA. Wash.. Feb. 28. (Spe cial.) The United States bank depos itors' committee of 15. recently appoint ed, yesterday set March 7 as the date for holding another mass meeting. The meeting will be held in the high school auditorium, and at this time the com mittee will report. The committee will then tender its resignation.
