Work of cutting: weeJs on 7000 va cant lots In various parts of the city will bo resumed next Tuesday by oity workmen. Totals compiled yesterday In the city Public Works Department showed that men who have been post ing' "cut weeds" notices during the last 10 days have posted that number. The actual cutting- of weeds has been at a standstill for several days past, owing: to the fact that the cut ters got ahead of the men posting no tices, so the entire working force was set to posting the notices. The posters will, be able to keep ahead of the cut ters during the rest of the weed sea son, it is said. Fire and police officials are to start at once a campaign . to require the cleaning up of dry grass and brush on property. Several grass fires In the last few days are responsible for strict enforcement of this feature of the cleanup ordinances. Brownsville Physician Married. . ' JUNCTION CITY, Or., July 2. (Spe cial.)
