The itinerary of the Rote Festival's
special car, which will have as guests
or honor "Queen Rose" and her suite
of 11 princesses and maids of honor
on its approaching advertising tour of
the Coast, was announced last night
by President C. C. Colt of the Festival
board of directors.
The far will include luxurious ac
commodation for 15 persons, which will
just fill the needs of the party, as the
12 "Festival" girls are to be accom
panied by a chaperon, pubticity director
and manager. The name of the Festi
val special is the "Iolanthe," Be
sides a boudoir for "Queen Rose,"
there are several compartments, a
special dining-room, baths, a commodi
ous library and observation platform.
It was found necessary, in order to
secure the best arrangements for the
itinerary, to change the date of leav-

days. The arrangements will give the
party ample time for rest and to en

The announcement of the arrange
ments for the trip is expected to stim
ulate the balloting in the Festival's
queen election and tour contest, of
which only ten days more remain.
The coupons published ly the daily
newspapers were discontinued yester
day. Coupons are being sold at the
rate of ten for 1 cent at headquar
ters. Several business houses and
theaters are giving away couDons with
purchases, and those will figure in the
voting.
