A large attendance was present at the meeting of the Producers' and Con sumers' Public Market Association, held yesterday at the Commercial Club. Members of many of the business or ganizations and associations of the city were present, all of them promising individual assistance as well as that of the club they represented for the parade to be held at 10 A. M. on May 16 prior to the opening of the market on Yamhill, between Fifth and Sixth streets. There will be no meeting to day. Representatives of the ' Portland Railway. Light & Power Company, the Progressive Business Men's Club, the Ad Club, the Woodlawn, Kerns and Woodstock Parent-Teacher Associa tions, the East Side Business Men's Club, the Made-In-Oregon Club, the North Portland Commercial Club and the Oregon Civic League were among the organizations promising assistance.
