Fair which will be held here Friday
and Saturday have been completed.
Fourteen school districts in this neigh
borhood, within a radius of about ten
miles of Sandy, will be represented In
the Juvenile department. The fair will
open Friday morning with a parade
at 10 o'clock. F. E. Beckwlth will be
In charge. Business men and civic or
ganizations will take part In the open
ing exercises. Friday the eugenic show
will be held In Oddfellows' Hall and
will be in charge of Dr. W. H. Barend
rlck and assistants.

County Clerk Says Sheriff Must
. Make Distribution This Xear.
Election booths must be distributed
by the Sheriff and not by the County
Clerk is the ultimatum County Clerk
Coffey yesterday laid down to the
Count Commissioners.
"I don't see why I should do it when
the statute provides that the Sheriff
Bhould attend to the work," said Mr.
Coffey yesterday. "I don't know why
it has been the custom to have the
Clerk do It. All I know about It is
that I won't distribute the booths this
year."
