tain the North Paclfio Saengrerbund.

singing societies from 20 to SO cities
of the F"aclflo Coast.
Streets and business houses are be
ing decorated and by the time the dele

the -city will be gay with bunting and
welcome signs in German.
Leading features of the Saengerfest
-will be "two concerts at the Keylor
Grand Theater with 600 voices in the
chorus and soloists of note. Sunday
morning a concert will be given at the
penitentiary... A volkfest at Turn a
Lum Park is the ' principal event for
Sunday. This will close with a big
barbecue. Monday will be spent in
sight-seeing.
The ' soloists are Madame Ina B.
Wright-Herbst, soprano; Mme. B. Hesse
Sprotte. mezzo soprano; Claude Mad
den, vollin soloist and composer.
The general programme is as fol
lows: Thursday, June 19. Reception to smesta
at night. ,
Friday mornln?, lo o'clock Reception to
Tlsltora; 2 o'clock. reneral rehearsal; 8 P
M.. first concert at Keylor Grand in which
n masse singing and special solos will be
featurea.
Saturday. 10:80 Street parade; 2 P. M-.

Sunday. 10 A. M. Gathering of delegates
at Oermania "hall; concert at penitentiary;
