HOOH PRICES TO RISE ADVAXCK OF 20 CENTS PER BAKKLX DUE TODAY. I'oscihle Sliorlnfre in Supply of Wheat Given as Cause by Millers and Higlicr Figures Feared. Flour prices this morning will be 20 cents a barrel, or 5 cents a sack, higher in the local market. This la the first advance that has been announced by the millers since the last harvest. The rise in the flour market is due to higher prices in the wheat market. Wheat is soaring, as stocks in the coun try are becoming: smaller and there is a possibility that not enough is left to last until the new crop comes on. Therefore, millers and grain men think that still higher flour prices will pre vail. Flour is still cheap as compared with the prices of some other necessary com modities. A year a sto today the price was the same as now, thousrh by Sum mer It had advanced 0 cents a barrel. Two years ago on this date the whole sale price was $6.35 a barrel, which is H.S5 above the present price. The re tail price of the best (lour on that date waa $1.90 a sack. The retail price to day on the tame kind of flour will be $1.55 a sack. , Landslide Delays Others. SEASIDE, Or.. Jan. li. (Special.) S. J.
