ALREADY 20,000,000 SOLD Chicago Market Firm on Promise of Continued Foreign Demand for Grain- targe Houses Are Heavy Buyers. CHICAGO. Aug. 27. Belief that United States wheat exports would be larger than ever before helped the market today to rally. Estimates that the sales to the foreign countries of wheat and flour from this year's crop in the United States already were equal to 20.000.000 bushels of wheat were responsible for the belief that exports would break records. A group of large houses were lined up In stalwart fashion on tha buying side of the market, and this cheeked early selling, because predicted frosts did not happen in Canada. Corn had a firm tone throughout. -Oats were firm. Hard spots in the provision market brought profit taking on the part of stock yarda longs. Futures ranged as follows: WHEAT. Open. High, Low. Close.
