The sentiment of the trustees was unani
mous In that the Union should renew Its
membership with the Northwestern Fruit
Exchange, snd a formal resolution was of
fered and unanimously passed, and con
tracts signed for the ensuing season.
The Cashmere Union contemplates great
Improvements In Its local facilities this year.
Crop contracts will be entered Into between
the growers and the union, and a pool In
each variety wlllt. Je conducted. There will
be very rigid Inspection and th union will
have a competent field Inspector to provide
for a uniform pack and grade.
A special meeting of the trustees will be
held in the near future to decide in regard
to th building of a new warhous, as It
Is considered that the present warehouse Is
too small to accommodate the business that
will be offered to th union this year. Th
grower In thl part of th Valley who
worked through the Cashmere union last
year ar all pleased, and there will undoubt
edly bo many accession to the membership
next year.
