rain or snowfall during February wa mucn
above tho average. Surplu moisture varied
from 10 por cent. In Illlnol to 124 per
cent In Kansas. A Boatlnc short Interest,
moreover, was apparently well eliminated
by yesterday's bulge. At the outside of
tradlnc, cables had a depressing tnuuence.
Tho rally later lasted fairly well until the
middle of the season. After that the mar
ket fell Into a rut. May ranged from 0c

No room for corn here and no outlet
East made the feellnc as to that cereal

Harbor enterprises and the interests
of Hoqulam and Aberdeen is planned
by the commercial bodies of the two
cities. The -subject was taken up at
the noon luncheon of the local Cham
ber of Commerce today and discussed
at considerable length.
Secretary Harris, of the Hoquiam
Commercial Club, in speaking for his
organization, urged the two cities to
arct together for their mutual good.
This is a new spirit to be displayed
between the two cities, aa in the past
there has been a great deal of jealousy
and rivalry, which at times has reached
the point of bitterness.
