Egps Decline Two Cents Onions Firm but Not Vet Vp to the Oregon Parity. ' SEATTLE. Jan. 23. (Spectal.l The lump In egga continued today with In creased vigor. The market was absolutely without etipport and under rather moderate receipts, the price dropped to 32 cents. S cents under Saturday's lowest quotation. Local ranch eggs are now 3 cents lower than a year ago. The butter market is In a turmoil. One of the largest creamery men In the city is endeavoring to cut prices, but other manu facturers declare the supply does not war rant a reduction at this time. Over-production of condensed milk and the fact that condensed milk Is piling up in the warehouses is largely responsible for the fight that has developed in the butter trade. The onion market was very firm. Prices have not as yet been advanced to meet the rise In Oregon, but most houses are endeav. orlng to obtain the full $2.50 price. Potatoes were steady at last week's prices. Country advices indicate that farmers are extremely bullish In their viewn. notwith standing that they are having difficulty In getting rid of their potatoes. Thirty-one carloads of hay arrived today, the heaviest day's receipts of the year. The hay market Is badlv demoralized and prices are belns cut on all sides.
