It la reported, that 100,000 per- aona of the wealthier classes already have fled from Naples. There were 32 new canes and 26 deaths from the cholera In Naples yes terday. Immigrants arriving today from America were forcibly prevented from landing. The passengers on the steam er Canoplc. which reached Naples yes terday from Boston, were permitted to debark, but were Immediately escorted to the railroad station by soldiers. Most of the cases are In the squalid quarter of the city. The Duke and Duchess of Aosta have hurriedly re turned to Naples and are organizing re lief methods. Professor Porta, president of . the board of health, announced yesterday that there have been four cases of Asi atic cholera In Rome. One of these proved fatal, while the others are recovering-. The origin of all have ifcen traced to Naples. In the last 24 hours, four new cases and three deaths have been reported In the southeastern district. At a Cabinet meeting yesterday the ministers deliberated on measures ne cessitated by the prevalence of chol era at Naples. Special, consideration was given to the questions of shipping and emigration. Detachmenta of police and 150 cara blnlerl have been sent to Naples to assist In the enforcement of sanitary measures. Iti Slxia. SPOUSE BALK VANCOUVER MAX SAYS WIFE IS ABUSIVE; WANTS DIVORCE. Dissatisfied Husband Says He Was Seventh Man Woman Alleged to Have Threatened His Life. VANCOUVER, Wash., Sept. 27. (Spe cial.) Married seven times, Mrs. Agnes Brown, of this county. Is threatened with losing her husband, John Brown. In a divorce su't filed today by John Brown, In the Superior Court. It As stated that Mrs. Brown -has borne, the names of Mrs. Agnes Brown, Mrs. Agnea Tliibodenu. Mrs. Agnes Peterson. Mrs. Agnes Miller, Mrs. Agnes Hewitt, Mrs. Agnes Sharkey, and Mrs. Agnes Roubalt. Mr. and Mrs. Brown were married In Oregon City, Or., October 11, -190, and have since lived together. According to Brown's story,-during the past two years Mrs. Brown has made life a bur den for him, by her ungovernable tem per and her fiery tongue. Besides swearing at him and using abusive language, he says she actually drove him from his own home and threatened his life. When the coupl-5 married the woman had two lots In Vacouver worth about $500 each. A home was built on one of the lots. During their married life. Brown says he gave his wife every penny vof hs earnings, part of which she used to improve their property. The home was Improved to the extent of $1500, and Is now worth $5J0. Brown asks absolute divorce, property worth $3000, and $350 attorney's fees and such other relief as may seem Just. Milwaukee Offiees to Move. The offices of the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway, now at the cor ner of Third adn Alder streets, will be moved Friday to the Railway Exchange building. Sept. 27. In the presence of a large assemblage, the me morial to the . Pennsylvania soldiers who fought at Gettysburg, July 1, 2 and 3, 1863, was dedicated.
