When the news came last night an impromptu rally In the novel form of a pajama parade was started through the streets by the men in the fraternity houses. The students marched for several hours, singing, shouting and serenad ing the various sonority houses. The rally concluded at the home of Presi dent Campbell, who - was roundly cheered together with Professor Alder man. C. W. Robison was yell leader. Professor Alderman is an alumnus of the University of Oregon and has been professor of education here for several years. In the campaign made by the university three years ago for an In creased appropriation, fllr. Alderman took a leading part in organizing the alumni and working for the university.
