MAN AND GIRL INDICTED.
Iiaxceny Charge Develops Into Accu
sation of Immorality.
ROSEBURG, Or.. May 17. (Special.)
-Great Morton, of Portland, and Vera
de Hart, of Aberdeen, v ash., were In
dicted by the grand jury today on a
statutory charge. The couple were the
atrical performers and were arrested
here several weeks ago charged with
larceny from a dwelling.
The latter charge grew out of a con
fession by the girl that they uad
traveled as man and wife. Miss De
Hart owns considerable timber land in
Kastern Oregon and has several friends
et Portland, who have been summoned
here in her behalf.
