ING LANDS, OLYMPIA. WASHINGTON.
Notice is hereby given that sealed pro
posals of bias will be received by the
State Caoitol Commission of Washington
for the purchase of the capltol building
lands located in the counties of Cowlitz,
Clark and Skamania; said proposals or
bids to be made for such lands In tracts
not to exceed one hundred and sixty acres
In extent, and to be mailed or delivered
so that the same may be in the hands of
the Secretary of the State Capitol Com
mission, at Olympia, Washington, not
later than 12 o'clock, noon, on the 26th
day of May. 1910. Bids or proposals must
be for the land Including timber and
other material, and each bid must be ac
companied by a certified check for 10 per
cent of the amount bid. One-fifth of the
purchase price of each tract of land sold
shall be paid at the time of sale, and the
balance shall be divided into equal annual
payments, not exceeding ten, as the pur
chaser may elect; all deferred payments
to draw Interest at the rate of 6 per cent
per annum, payable annually. Any person
may bid for a single tract or may sub
mit separate bids for any number of the
tracts to be sold. Blank forms ot bids
or proposals containing a detailed list
and description of all lands to be sold,
together with a copy of chapter 69 of the
laws of 1909 relating to the sale of said
land, may be bad by addressing the Sec
