The Coob Bay Coal Brlquettlng Com
pany has been organized with a capital
of $20,000. The company has . secured
from YT. A. Thies the patent right on
the process of converting Coos Bay coal
Into briquets.
The purpose is to establish immediately
a demonstration plant with a view of
later making briquets on a large scale,
utilizing fine coal, which is otherwise
wasted at the mines. The members of
the new company are Hugh McLain.
