F.. held Its thirty-fifth annual session In this city today and completed its work late this afternoon. The Rebekah As sembly of Oregon met in twenty-third annual session this morning and will complete Its work tomorrow. Eight hun dred delegates are here. Kugene Is making a hard light for the 3910 session and is being opposed by Hood River and The Dalles. All of the officers of the Grand En campment elected last year were present except Grand High Priest R. Robertson, of Roseburg, who died during the past year; and Grand Outside Sentinel J. S. Lawrence, of Coquille. Appointments were made to nil the vacancies and the chairs were filled as follows: Grand patriarch. E. J. Seely, of Albany: acting irrand high priest. H. M. PRATTLE May IV The snow Is still deep in Stioqiialmle Pass, the gap In the Cascade Mountains through which the New York-to-sfattle pathfinder automo bile expected to cross the range, and the car will be shipped over the Northern Pacific from EaMon to Ravensdale. From Kavensdale the car will proceed on Its own wheels to Kent. 17 miles from Seattle. At Kent 100 automobiles will meet the car tomorrow afternoon and escort it to the world's fair grounds, where the ar rival of the pathfinder will be celebrated.
