signed for thin occasion nnd will illumi
nate the east end of the spn clous ball
room In emblematic colors. A large force
has been employed In arranging dressing
rooms for women, as well as smoking
rooms for men. and the large reception
parlors will be carefully arranged for
the comfort and convenience of those who
do not care to dance, or who wish to sit
out an occasional dance. These spacious
and sumptuously furnished rooms are
adiacent to the ballroom.
There will be tlve stations throughout
the building for the serving of punch,
which will be attended by a staff of
efficient waiters under the direction of
the head steward of the Portland Hotel.
