day night, at 7:30 o'clock. The morn,
tng service will begin at 9 o'clock. Rev.

speak on "Civilisation and Our Redemp
tion." Concert for Seamen.
The concert at the Institute of the
Portland Seamen's Friend Society last
night wa of a very high order. The pro
gramme waa in charge of D. B. Row man

are both favorite with the sailors and
received their usual number of encores,
each responding several times. Mis Pur-
ton's violin work was very tine. Mr.
