City of North Yakima, Washington, in
tends to purchase eight two-horse sprin
kling carts to be used for sprinkling the
streets of said city pursuant to the pro
visions of ordinance No. 508 of the ordi
nances of said city, passed October 15,
1006.
Sealed proposals for the furnishing of
said sprinkling carts to be delivered to
said city not later than May 1, 1007, will
be received by the City Clerk of said
city up to 7:30 o'clock P. M. of Novem
ber 10, 1006. at which time all bids re
ceived will be opened at a regular meet
ing of the City Council of said city to be
"held on that date.
The city reserves the right to reject any
of said bids, for the whole number of
carts to be purchased or any part thereof,
and also reserves the right to reject any
and all bids. Any bidder may bid upon
the whole number of carts or any portion
thereof.
All bidders will be required to deposit
with their bids a certified check for an
amount equal to 5 per cent of tae amount
of said bid drawn In favor of the City
Treasurer on some solvent National bank
