Stew art was burglarized last night, the loss being about $50 In cash, about a dozen pocket-knives and a few other articles. The thief, or thieves, entered the rear door of the building by picking the lock. The safe was drilled and the combina tion shattered without the use of explo sives. The Job showed the marks of an expert. The cash register yielded the burglar $4.15. Checks and other negotiable papers were not taken. Sheriff Ross Is searching for clews, but so far without success.
