Seventh and Washington European Plan DYING WISH NOT GRANTED Consumptive Austrian Refused Passage to His Home. NEW YORK. July 5. Antone Tovitch arrived here today from Los Angeles on his way to Austria. When he appeared at the steamer's gangplank the ship sur geon, looking at the man's emaciated form, shook his head and remarked: "You are too sick to sail, my man." "Please let me pass," pleaded Yovltch; "I have come all the way from Los An geles that I might sail today to see my family in Austria." But the surgeon was obdurate and Yo vltch, downhearted, turned away. He walked to a near-by hotel, seated him self in the lobby, and an hour later fell dead. A physician said he died of con sumption. Lane County Prospects Good. EUGENE, Or., July 5. (Special.) The hot weather has brought into market the bulk of a good cherry crop. Hay harvest is on with all available hands employed.
