Idaho, July 4 Harry Dra per, of Spokane, with his famous man hunting bloodhounds, arrived here today to take up the chase of three burglars who escaped from the Asotin County Jail at Asotin some time this morning, be tween the hours of 1 and 3 o'clock. Dra per arrived here in response to a call from Sheriff Richards, of Asotin County, who telephoned him this morning. He was met at the train by Mr. Rich ards. After a consultation they proceed ed to Asotin County to secure the scen of the jallbreakers, after wnich the hounds will be put on the track. Draper said tonight that his hounds were in the best of condition after their warm Journey from Spokane, and said he was contident of their being able to take up the scent. The prisoners who escaped were Fred Stang, Frank Brown and Mike Burns, who were arrested three weeks ago for breaking Into a number of ClarKston bus iness houses, and were to be tried the latter part of this month. Sheriff Rich ards says the men were In their cells at midnight last night. They did a neat Job, cutting three bars of the cage, after which they cut and displaced three bars in the outer corridor. Evidence has been discovered showing that the men stole a skiff and left for Lower Snake River. Sheriff Richards has advised all Sher iffs in the lower country to be on the lookout, and special deputies have been sent down the river. The opinion prevails that the men had outside assistance in escaping. Railroad Fireman Meets Death. HELENA. Mont., July 4. Hans Dry land. a Northern Pacific fireman.
