WEATHER CONDITIONS.
The barometer Is lowest over Northern
California and hlKhest over Montana. Show
ers are reported In North Dakota and East
ern Montana and fair weather continues In
the Pacific States. The temperatures have
risen In the Willamette Valley, Northeast
ern Washington and Idaho, and It Is sllghtly
warmer in Northern California, the highest
temperature of the season being reported at
Red Bluff, where the maximum was 104 de
grees. The indications are for fair and continued
warm weather in this district Monday.

Railroad Buys Kntlre Town.
Pittsburg Dispatch.
The Pennsylvania Railroad has
bought out the town of Burlington, O.,
on the Cleveland and Pittsburg divi
sion, and announces that It will sell
b homes, churches, schoolhouses and
other buildings at public auction. The
company paid over $250, OOd for the
town, which has several hundred in
habitants. The site will be used by
the railroad (or a classification yard.
