Kicht Wisconsin men. accused of land frauds in Oregon, all plead innocence, 1enyinsr the charue that tliey obtained possession of timber and stone land by proving up on fal.se statements of alleged wttlers in the "Lake View'" district, and denyinf? that these lands were secured for the Oshkosh Land & Timber Co. Ieander Choate, head of the alleged party of land-getters, himself a millionaire, as serts that he and his colleagues never owned land In the Lakevlew district.
