Orle Hanavan, an 28-year-old boy, who was arrested Sunday morning in such an intoxicated condition that he could not be aroused until 5 o'clock in the morning, although arrested at 1 A. M., and who was remanded to the City Jail by Judge Cameron until he would tell his name and the place where he obtained liquor, has agreed to tell all he knows. Young Hanavan is the son of parents living at Mount Scott, who have not yet been notified of their son's arrest. The young fellow broke down In jail last night and told Captain Bailey his name and promised to reveal where he became in toxicated. He admitted that he -was under age, and that he had taken too much port wine. It was feared Sunday morning that HanAvan was in a serious condition, and Dr. 3latson was called to revive him. A warrant will be Issued for the saloonkeeper's arrest as soon as Han avan shows the officers the place where he procured liquor. DAILY METEOROLOGICAL REPORT. PORTLAND, Oct 23. The barometer Is now low over British Columbia and Alberta, and light rain has occurred in Northwest Oregon and Western Washington as a result of a small disturb unce apparently central over Vancouver Island.
