hereby given that the board of directors of
the Hood River Irrigation District in Wasco
County. Or., will sell the bonds of said dis
trict In the sum of $60,000.00, ' on Tuesday,
the 24th day of October. 1905, at the hour
of 10 o'clock A. M.. at the office of said
board at the residence -of J. H. Shoemaker
In said district, and that sealed proposals
for said bonds will be received by wild
board at said place for the purchase of
said bonds until tha day and hour above
mentioned, at which time, the board Shalt
open the proposals and award the purchase
of the bonds to the highest responsible
bidder, the board reserving the right to
reject any and all bids, bids to be accom
panied by a certified check for 10 per cent
of the amount of the bonds tor which the
bid Is submitted.
Said bonds shall be payable In money of
the United States, in 10 series, as follows.
to wit: At the expriatlon of 11 years 3
per cent of the whole number of said
bonds; at tha expiration of 12 years. 6
per cent; at the expiration of 13 yearn.
