A. Schooling, president, a special committee -was ap jKrtnted with J. James, chairman, to inves tigate the stock law. At the lost election that precinct voted that cows should not be allowed to run at large. Since then stock comes in from Lents and "Wood stock and this committee will ascertain how this can he prevented. A afiecial committee was also appointed to confer with the new Push Club re cently organized at Lents to secure co operation In promoting the interests of the whole southeast district. In the matter of more water It was re ports! that George Brown, owner of t plant. Is laying a large main from the well near Lento and will soon con nect with the reservoir at Arleta, when there would be plenty of water. A3 there has been some reports' concerning the water which is to be supplied the people, it was decided to have it analyzed to have the question settled and the minds of the people put at rest for all time. The well goes down to gravel at a loca tion two miles from the reservoir, and there In plenty of it. It is claimed that it equate Bull Hun in purity. In order to make the association per manent a special committee on consti tution and by-laws was appointed.
