At walla Walla a maximum tem perature of 110 degrees occurred at S P. M. and at Spokane the thermometer registered 102 degrees and at Boise 100 degrees. The Indications are that the hot wave east of the Cascade Mountains will break by Saturday afternoon or Sunday and It will probably be cooler also west of this range ot Mountains.
