preme Court of the United States the
Solicitor-General today submitted with
out argument the petition of the United
States for a mandamus to compel Judge
"Wing-, of the Northern Ohio District, to
file with the clerk of his court the pa
pers in the Chinese exclusion cases
which he alleged to have decided as a
Judge and not as a court. Judge Wing
has given notice that he will not file
any brief in the caso.
