ware, tin and granite ware, crockery and
glassware and tinning will be furnished by
the clerk of the board upon application.
All goods must be in strict accordance with
sample, in original packages, when possible,
and delivered at the State Insane Asylum
within 20 days after the contract Is awarded,
and bids must be on blank forms, which will
be furnished, together with Instructions to
bidders, by the clerk, upon application.
Each bid on flour or meat must be i.ecom
panled by a. certified check oi 5300, and each
bid on fish by a certified check of 575, and
s.U other bids by certified checks equal to 10
per cent cf the amount bid checks of unsuc
cessful bidders to be returned Immediately,
and those of accepted bidders when the. con
tract Is completed.
Bids must be Inclosed In sealed envelopes
and directed to the board, care Of the clerk,
and plainly marked. "Bid for Asylum sup
plies," and the class of goods bid on should
also be Inscribed on the envelope.
Price, fitness and quality being equal, pref
erence will be given to articles manufactured,
grown or produced in this tate.
When a particular article U specifically
