Light ' showers have occurred In Oregon,
Southwestern Idaho and extreme Northwestern
California, and the weather continues cloudy
and threatening In all sections oast of the
Cascade Mountains. It la much cooler In Ore
gon, Idaho and Southeastern Washington, and
the temperatures in this district are from 5 to
10 degrees below normal. The Indications are
for fair and continued cool weather in the
North Pacific States, except In Southern Idaho,
where showers are probable. There will be
frost early Friday morning in Oregon, "Wash
ington and Northern and "Western Idaho.

ending at midnight Friday, April 20:
Portland and vicinity Fair, with slowly ris
ing temperature; northerly winds.
"Western Oregon and "Western "Washington
Fair, with frosts in early morning; warmer
during the afternoon and night; northerly
winds.
Eastern Oregon, Eastern "Washington and
Northern Idaho Fair, -with frost In the early
morning, followed by warmer during the after
noon and night; westerly winds.
