There has been a marked rise in pressure over the North Pacific States during the last 12 hours. jaBd the disturbance last night off the Northwest Washington Coast has prac tically disappeared. Moderately heavy rains occurred last night in Western Oregon and Western Washington, and light snow In the eastern portions of these states. It Is decid edly warmer In all the Pacific States, and the temperatures now are generally above the av erare for the season of the year. The follow ing maximum wind velocities occurred during the last 24 hers: Portland. 46 miles, south; Neah Bay. 34 miles, west.
