momentary exception trade In wheat was
dull and of a holiday character, traders
being inclined, to even, up "on account of
the holiday trade, -as well as Saturday.
Liverpool -showed a good response early
to. -the bluge here yesterday, and Decem
ber wheat .opened Crhlgher to &c lower,
at T3&73c This Initial showing was
disappointing to the crowd, and the mar
ket forthwith, tbok on an easier tone.
This feellng was further encouraged by
the good weather, the jsmall shlpmentb
and the continued -liberal receipts as well
as the, Liverpool Idss of. Its early gain.
