BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY.
In Bpenklng of n person's faults,
Pray don't forgot your own;
Remember, those with houses of glass
Should Bcldom throw a stone.
If we have nothing else to do
Uut talk of those who sin,
'Tls better wo commence at homo,
And from this point begin.
We have no right to Judge a man,
Until he's fairly tried;
Should wo not llko his company,
Wo know this world Is wide:
Some have their faults nnd who has
not?
Tho old ob well as young;
Perhaps wo mnv. for aught wo know,
Have fifty to their one.
I'll tell you of a better plan.
And find It works full woll.
To try my own defects to cure,
Before of others toll;
And though I sometimes hope to bo
No worse than some I know.
My own shortcomings bid mc lot
The faults of others go.
Then let us all when wo commenco
To slander friend or foe,
Think of tho harm one word may do
To thoso who llttlo know.
Itcmembcr curses, Bomctlmes llko
Our chickens "roost at homo";
Don't speak of others' faults until
Wo have none of our own.
