on the G inscription Act, recently passed by our

jiathy." Here he aqu.irely acknowledges that
he is an enemy to the American Nation.

Valley.
1 know that the masses of your peoble, are
gallant and patriotic, and will freely off r their
nervices when there is a necessity. Troops are
now needed to serve on your own soil, and on
your own frontier. A post should heestablised
ut Fort Boise, and an expedition made njaiust
the Snake Indians, all reitiiring more troop.
