Ohio Railroad, 40 miles south of Corinth,
and after forced marches by day mid night,
through n very difficult country, they final
ly succeeded in reaching the Railroad at

places south and north of the town. They
blew up one culvert and destroyed the
switch and track and burned up the depot.
A large amount of commissary stores were
captured together with three pieces of ar
tillery. Thov took several hundred pris

At tho depot they destroyed a locomo
tive and n train of '.'( cars, loaded with
supplies of every kind. They destroyed
1(1,000 stands of small arms and a great
