Commission

Locks Jan. 12-13
On Jan. 12-13, the Oregon
Heritage Commission will
gather in Cascade Locks,
starting Jan. 12 at 1:15 p.m.
to tour heritage sites in the
area.
On Jan. 13, a public busi-
ness meeting will begin at
9 a.m. at the Best Western
Columbia River conference
room at 735 WaNaPa St.
The agenda includes Or-
egon Heritage Tradition
review, presentations by
the State Library of Oregon
and the Clackamas County
Heritage Council, a discus-
sion about Oregon Heritage
Grant rulemaking history
and reports by commission-
ers.
The Heritage Commission
is comprised of nine peo-
ple representing Oregon’s
heritage and geographical
diversity who have been
appointed by the governor.
There are nine advisory
representatives from state
agencies and statewide or-
ganizations.
