Proland, LLC, to
construct a 120 ft tall
monopole wireless
transmission tower
within a 40-ft by 50-ft
leased area located
on property owned
by Diamond Fruit
Growers, Inc. near
Windmaster Corner.
Since then, the ap-
plicant has modified
the proposal to ad-
dress
concerns
raised by the County
and adjacent prop-
erty owners given its
location immediately
adjacent to a resi-
dential zone and its
prominent location
near the high school
baseball field. The
applicant’s plan has
been modified as fol-
lows: The transmis-
sion tower has been
moved approx. 270
ft E along the N side
of the subject parcel;
The height of the
transmission tower
has been reduced
from 120 ft to 100 ft;
The
transmission
tower is proposed to
be painted brown to
blend in with sur-
rounding light poles
at the baseball field;
and The overall
lease area has been
reduced from 2,000
square ft to approx.
1,125 square ft. In
addition to the trans-
mission tower, an
equipment shelter
and utilities neces-
sary to operate the
proposed tower, as
well as a 6-ft high
chain-linked perime-
ter fence, continue
to be proposed with-
in the modified
leased area. Access
to the tower will in-
clude a 12-ft wide
gravel driveway with
a gravel turnaround
near the tower site.
The subject parcel
is approx. 8.78 acres
in size and located
at the NW corner of
Barrett Dr. and Indi-
