Soil and Water District holds annual
native plant sale through April 4

ter storms or bark beetle damage? Want

your land from high water?
The Hood River Soil and Water Con-
servation District (SWCD) is taking or-
ders now through March 20 for its an-
nual native tree and plant sale. A vari-
ety of native conifers, deciduous trees
and shrubs are offered.
“We’ve got a great selection of native
plant species at fantastic prices,” said Kris
Schaedel, Conservation Technician.
Native plants are adapted to the
unique climate and soils of the Hood
River Valley. They require less water,
fertilizer and other inputs to maintain,
