The main fill has boon made nearly to the top of the narrow gorge, and on the extremity of the west wing the concrete has been aid and marks the height of the dam when finished. It is over 100 feet from the bed of the river and narrows to 15 feet at the top. The concrete is being poured down from the mixing plant on the side of the hill to the fill on the west side, while an Immense bucket carries over the concrete and drops it down on the east side.
